I had my first weigh in this morning. Went to boots this morning after dropping the kids at school. I lost 4 lbs!!!!! Am very pleased. I would have like to lose maybe a lb or 2 more but its 4 lbs off in the right direction. I haven't deprived myself as much as I would normally either so am very pleased.
I probably could have lost more but I am placing the blame on the bar of galaxy I had on Sunday night. Dh went to the shop and bought me some choccie. I only intended to have a couple of squares but before I knew it it was all gone!! Oops!!
As I was feeling so motivated I have been to Asda and done the shopping. Got lots of weight watchers bits and bobs too. This week I am going to keep an eye on the fat content of everything too as I have noticed that things can be lowish in cals but are surprisingly high in fat.
I have bought some quorn burgers to try as a few people have recommended them. I have also bought some extra lean mince so I can make one of my favourite meals chilli con carne for tea one night.
So my new weight is 18 stone 11 lbs. I will take a photo of the slip and upload it here later when dh gets in from work with the camera or I might see if I can scan it on later.
I am so proud of my buddy. She's done great and lost 8 lbs. Hope I haven't let her down by only losing 4. Its working great having a buddy as I know I have someone to talk to. I usually find the second week harder but am determined to keep up the healthy eating.
I also want to increase my exercise big time too!! I have ordered My Fitness Coach for the Wii off Amazon and hope to have it by the weekend. I can't wait to get started with that. In the meantime I plan on doing as much exercise round the house as possible and as I will have to take the kids to school and fetch them on the bus then I will be doing more walking too. I am going to walk an extra couple of bus stops when I go to fetch them and get off a couple of stops early too. Unfortunately their school is not close enough to walk to.
Will update more this week as I have more time available and whilst I'm on here I am not eating lol!!

1st Weigh in tomorrow!!
Will be stepping on the scales again tomorrow and I really hope I have lost at least 4lb. I haven't got any scales so have no idea what I might have lost.
I was naughty last night and ended up scoffing a galaxy bar but was still within my calorie allowance so am hoping it will be ok. I only intended to have a few squares but before I could stop myself the whole thing was gone :( so am being ultra good today to make up for it and am running up and down the stairs and doing star jumps at every opportunity.
Fingers crossed for a nice loss tomorrow cos I really don't want to let my buddy down!!

So Far, So Good!!
Going well so far and keeping well within my 2000 cals a day max.
I need to increase my exercise levels though so am thinking of getting a wii fit. I really fancy one so will see about getting one after the weekend I think. If its dry tomorrow then I will go for a walk round our local park which is about 3 or 4 miles.
I found on day 2 I was really hungry but still kept within my cals allowance. Today (day 3) has been fine. I had a delicious weight watchers chilli and rice for tea and beefed it up with a jacket potato. I find that weight watchers meals on their own don't go anywhere near to filling me up but if I add a jacket spud then it makes it feel as though I have actually eaten something. It was really lovely and I will definitely be buying more weight watchers chilli. Definitely one of their better meals.
Also it has filled me up lovely and I haven't felt the need to snack all evening which in the past has been my biggest downfall.
I have myself a diet buddy too who is great at motivating me and chatting about anything and everything lol. I am finding that is really helping me to know that support is there for me whenever I have a down day. Haven't had one so far but am sure there will be a fair few along the way lol!!
It's great not having scales at home too as it means I can't do any sneaky peaks during the week!! I used to be terrible and weigh myself practically everyday and was almost obsessed by them.
Have just decided that if I can't walk round the park tomorrow then will do an exercise dvd I think. Right am off to bed now cos I am shattered. Can't do these late nights no more. Last night I was asleep by 9.30pm but the only problem is I seem to wake at 6am. I suppose it would be a good time to exercise whilst no one else is awake.
